New love!

I officially love ePub books now! ePub books are cool! ;-)

See, I don't really have much time for reading, or well at least i don't take the time to read while I'm at home. But I do spend (and wasted) an awful lot of time waiting at bus stops or at the doctors..

I always loved to read but honestly in the last years i really didn't read much. Cause every time i did have time I didn't had a book at hand. Because I don't like to carry books around. They're heavy and take up to much space in my already to small purse.. plus: sometimes i like to choose between different books depending on my mood.

So earlier this year I met a colleague who always had her eBook reader with her. But seriously i don't wanna spend money on an eBook reader. But I do have a smartphone, which you could use as a phone, but for me it's more like my personal mobile entertainment center!

I always have my phone with me for listening to music, reading emails or surfing the web, taking pictures, watching movies, playing games or as of new: reading books!
when I saw my colleague with her eBook reader i searched for a way to read books on my phone. And of course i found one. There is this nice site where you can download eBooks for your mobile. Basically each book is it's own java application. Which is basically ok.

So i downlaoded a bunch of books that sounded nice and started reading. I actually read about 8 books since March!!! I don't think i have read so many books in the last 5 years put together! (Sad i know!)

But recently i heard that the magazines are gonna be published in ePub format from now on. I was never really interested in that format. But the idea of always having the magazines with me to read (i don't always like to just listen to them) made me searching for a way to read ePub on my mobile.

And i found that great app for reading eBooks on a mobile. and I found an app for my PC to manage those books and find other eBook, where you can even change some parts of that book, or even create your own book from a pdf, for example. I love it!!

Now i'm off to search for some new interesting books for my reading list. ;-)
