I just heard the sad news, that a couple from our congregation is leaving us sometime this year. It's a very nice, young pioneer couple and he is also one of our elders. And because they live nearby they always take me to the meetings...
I'm really gonna miss them even though we are not very close.
But they have good reasons to leave us: they're planning to help a congregation in need! They talked to our CO and asked him if they are really needed in our congregation and which other congregation might need their help. Now thy're checking out a couple of congregations.
They haven't decided yet where they're going.. Today they'Re visiting the congregation which probably needs the most help. But if they go there, they gonna have to move, and the brother would need to ask for a relocation. Another congregation would only be about 20km from here, so they would not have to move or ask for relocation... We'll see how they decide.
